Chief Financial Officer for a well-respected and successful company in the general contracting industry in Montgomery County. 10+ years' experience in Accounting in construction/general contracting. 5+ years' experience as a Controller strongly preferred. Familiarity with GAAP and corporate tax laws preferred. CPA desired. Relocation package is not available for this role.

  • Responsible for all financial aspects (strategy, analysis, reporting and compliance) of the company as well as management of the accounting staff.
  • Maintain bank relationships and providing its lenders with the information required by its debt agreements and additional information such as annual projections as requested.
  • Acts as the companies’ liaison with its external accountants and auditors.
  • Reviews and approves monthly closings and monthly and annual financial statements
  • Reviews weekly cash projections, collections, disbursements and payroll reporting.
  • Prepares annual tax returns and financial projections.
  • Responsible for all governmental filings including payroll taxes, sales taxes, business privilege taxes, licenses, permits and special filings such as those required for local neighborhood improvement programs.
